Brooker Engineering, PLLC has wide experience in the field of hydraulics and hydrology, having designed numerous culverts, bridges, dams, flood control and drainage improvement projects. We have provided the design, permitting and construction inspection services for projects that have reduced flooding in a broad spectrum of assignments, from small residential projects that improve drainage conditions for a single homeowner, to large flood control projects that reduce flooding on a community-wide level.

Brooker Engineering has the unique experience of providing floodplain management and design services from all aspects: as a design engineer for land development within a floodplain, as the Floodplain Administrator responsible for enforcing local, state and federal floodplain regulations, and as a hydrologic and hydraulic engineer responsible for mapping floodplains which are then used by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to develop the regulated flood hazard areas.

In addition, we have provided structural and hydraulic designs for new dam construction and dam rehabilitation of both high and low hazard dams. We provide construction documents suitable for approval from the agencies of jurisdiction, Emergency Action Plans and construction inspection for such projects.

Brooker Engineering, PLLC is proficient in obtaining Conditional Letters of Map Revision (CLOMRs), Letters of Map Revisions (LOMRs), Letters of Map Amendment (LOMAs), and elevation certificates for the land development projects in FEMA designated floodways and flood hazard areas.
